Homeworks at The Farmers’ Market - 12th December

As promised, here is the list of confirmed stall holders for Sunday 12 December. These Homeworks regulars will be back for a second week if you missed them last time - Lou Rota, Smith and Coates, Handworks, Somerville Scarves, Sasha Kamen, Sonia Shakerley, Oliver Marder and Liaqat Rasul, known for Ghulam Sakina and now with new collection ‘Sq’wat!’
New this week will be contemporary ceramics from Timea Sido, silver jewellery from Caroline Watson, vintage homewares from Dorothy Stiven, hand blended oils and treatments from Celia Worster, ceramics from Jacqui Ramrayka, vintage teacup candles from Me Old China and opulent jewellery from Cinderela B.

Hot on the heels of last weeks Christmas Bazaar at 20th Century Theatre, here is the list of confirmed stall holders for next Sunday’s craft market:
Up-cycled homewares from Lou Rota, recycled wool children’s clothes from Smith and Coates, quilts and cashmere from Handworks, fine handmade jewellery from Sasha Kamen, silk scarves and cushions from Somerville Scarves, organic skincare from Tabitha Robertson, handmade jewellery from Sonia Shakerley, vintage and contemporary finds from Homespun & Vintage, cashmere football scarves from Savile Rogue, knitting kits and more from Fiona Bailey, fifties inspired handmade aprons from Cherrypie Couture, Vevian Handmade Children’s Shoes, customised vintage furniture from Oliver Marder and Squat - designer of the fabulous Ghulam Sakina womenswear brand.

Sale Preview Part Five - Stocking Fillers

Yes, another preview this morning and we still have another two to go tomorrow. This morning’s preview is all about stocking fillers for young and old:



Make your own lip balm kits from The Homemade Company will keep young girls occupied for hours and Fiona Bailey’s knitting kits come with clear and easy to follow instructions, one ball of Rowan Cocoon yarn and a pair of 6.5mm needles:



Japanese paper balloons from Petra Boase fold flat and can be blown up and reused over and over again. We like using them in groups to make a cute animal mobile as above.




Treat yourself to a ‘keep glam’ mug from Samantha Morris and a screen printed linen shoulder bag from Bird In The Hand.

Sale Preview Part Three - Jewellery & Pampering

Caroline Watson will be back again this year with her timeless and romantic silver jewellery. From her workshop in London, Caroline creates pieces inspired by the natural world. Her pieces can be worn individually as charms or styled together.
Her work is represented in galleries and shops throughout the United Kingdom and online.

Sonia Shakerley sources natural gems and stones from around the world to create unique pieces. She will be showing a wide range of her work at Homeworks including earrings, necklaces, anklets, bracelet and also children’s jewellery.



The Homemade Company want to bring back the simplicity, joy and sheer fun of making things at home, things that are made with love and full of goodness. All the kits are made up in the UK and The Homemade Company pride themselves on using simple packaging with a low environmental impact.
Celia Worster will be offering on the spot massage again this year and her bespoke hand blended oils and creams for men and women.

Sale Preview Part Two - Interiors

We have many returning designers at this year’s sale, including Homeworks team members Lou and Fiona. Incredibly, as well as spending the last few months organising all our Christmas sales with the rest of the Homeworks team, they have also found the time to design and produce these new pieces for Christmas:

This year we are welcoming Charlotte Clemence for the first time. Her love is taking tired vintage pieces and transforming them into luxury one off designs. Charlotte is also happy to take commissions:
