Sale Preview Part Five - Stocking Fillers

Yes, another preview this morning and we still have another two to go tomorrow. This morning’s preview is all about stocking fillers for young and old:

Make your own lip balm kits from The Homemade Company will keep young girls occupied for hours and Fiona Bailey’s knitting kits come with clear and easy to follow instructions, one ball of Rowan Cocoon yarn and a pair of 6.5mm needles:

Japanese paper balloons from Petra Boase fold flat and can be blown up and reused over and over again. We like using them in groups to make a cute animal mobile as above.

Treat yourself to a ‘keep glam’ mug from Samantha Morris and a screen printed linen shoulder bag from Bird In The Hand.
Try and get some help with the washing up on Christmas day with Twisted Twee’s Pocket Money tea towel:

Kid’s bracelets from Moomu.

Magical horse toy sewing kit from Sparrowkids (Charlotte will also be running sewing workshops at the sale) and stylish scarab beetle wall stickers for the budding entomologist from Lou Rota.

Baby bootees made from recycled wool from Smith and Coates and abc colouring books from Mrs Booth:

Sale Preview Part Three - Jewellery & Pampering

Caroline Watson will be back again this year with her timeless and romantic silver jewellery. From her workshop in London, Caroline creates pieces inspired by the natural world. Her pieces can be worn individually as charms or styled together.
Her work is represented in galleries and shops throughout the United Kingdom and online.

Sonia Shakerley sources natural gems and stones from around the world to create unique pieces. She will be showing a wide range of her work at Homeworks including earrings, necklaces, anklets, bracelet and also children’s jewellery.

The Homemade Company want to bring back the simplicity, joy and sheer fun of making things at home, things that are made with love and full of goodness. All the kits are made up in the UK and The Homemade Company pride themselves on using simple packaging with a low environmental impact.
Celia Worster will be offering on the spot massage again this year and her bespoke hand blended oils and creams for men and women.

Sale Preview Part Two - Interiors

We have many returning designers at this year’s sale, including Homeworks team members Lou and Fiona. Incredibly, as well as spending the last few months organising all our Christmas sales with the rest of the Homeworks team, they have also found the time to design and produce these new pieces for Christmas:

Knitted lampshades by Fiona Bailey. Red Rose and Green Bug Sets by Lou Rota. Also back for a second year is Janey Whitehorn with her beautiful hand marbled lampshades and accessories:

This year we are welcoming Charlotte Clemence for the first time. Her love is taking tired vintage pieces and transforming them into luxury one off designs. Charlotte is also happy to take commissions:

Boudoir chair in Missoni fabric by Charlotte Clemence.

Sale Preview Part One - For Men

We thought we would start with one of the trickiest areas of Christmas shopping - what to buy for the men in your life? We have a few suggestions from our Homeworks stallholders which should provide some inspiration:

Cashmere football scarves by Savile Rogue (get there early, these were selling out fast last year) and silk scarves by Somerville Scarves. Limited edition print by Outline Editions.

Only one more week to go...

Not long now until the next Homeworks Sale, make sure it’s in your diary and come along next week for some festive shopping (with a glass of something fizzy if you make it in the evening.)

Our pre sale previews will begin over the weekend, but until then here is some gorgeous 100% cotton nightwear from Sogoodnight.
